Justin asked for a better city + pyramid combination shot. This is not a great picture primarily because of the haze of dust and air pollution. It was taken from the Citadel - which I will describe when I get to loading the pictures of our second day in Cairo but until then...

Ok, I was right...wow, had no idea that the pyramids were that close to the city. Looks like Vegas in some ways...if you could imagine the pyramids as a glittering wall of green glass with a arc-light disco ball over the pointy top.
Ok, maybe not so much like Vegas, but that's still a cool shot. Thanks for posting Duffy.
